Where should I fly if I’m going to Disneyland?

The **perfect age to take kids to Disney** is generally considered to be between **4 and 8 years old**. This age range is old enough to remember the experience, meet most height requirements, and appreciate the characters and magic of Disneyland, while still fully embracing the fantasy. Many parents also appreciate the convenience of this age, as children often nap less and have better stamina for a full day in Anaheim. However, unique magic is found at every age.

The new stroller rule at Disney primarily restricts the size of strollers allowed into the parks. Strollers must not be larger than 31 inches wide and 52 inches long. Additionally, the rule strictly **prohibits all wagons and stroller wagons**. This enforcement applies to both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. Guests must comply with the dimensions, as Cast Members at the entrance will measure non-compliant equipment and deny entry to the Anaheim resort.

The best stroller rental company for Disneyland is typically an independent, third-party vendor (like City Stroller Rentals or ScooterBug) rather than the park’s own service. Third-party rentals offer superior quality, often providing cushioned, full-recline strollers suitable for naps. They also deliver directly to your non-Disney hotel and permit use both inside and outside the park perimeter. The park’s own strollers are hard plastic models that must stay on-site.

The best month to visit Disneyland is typically mid-January through mid-March (excluding President’s Day weekend) and mid-September through mid-November (excluding Thanksgiving week). These shoulder seasons offer the shortest wait times, lower hotel rates, and pleasant weather, maximizing your experience in Anaheim. Conversely, the busiest and most expensive times are summer, Christmas, and spring break, which should be avoided if possible.

Many hotels in the Anaheim resort area, particularly along Harbor Boulevard, offer free shuttles to Disneyland Park, though most operate as part of the paid Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) system. Many Good Neighbor Hotels provide a complimentary service or a low daily fee. Always verify the shuttle service and fee structure directly with your hotel, as policies change. A hotel shuttle is a convenient, budget-friendly option to avoid parking fees and the long walk to the park entrance.
