How much does the train to Disneyland cost?

There are currently three official onsite hotels at the Disneyland Resort in California: Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Pixar Place Hotel (formerly Paradise Pier Hotel). All three properties offer premium lodging and exclusive benefits for guests, such as Early Entry access to the theme parks, unmatched proximity to the entrance gates, and charging privileges within the resort. Staying at any of these hotels provides the ultimate in convenience for your Anaheim vacation.

The **perks of staying at a Disneyland hotel** include **Early Entry** access, which allows guests to enter the parks 30 minutes before the general public. Additionally, the three official hotels offer the closest proximity to the theme park entrances and Downtown Disney, minimizing walking time. Guests also enjoy easy access to key hotel amenities and signature dining. These perks, along with premium service, are the main benefits that justify the higher nightly rate in the Anaheim area.

You are **not allowed to bring** prohibited items such as **selfie sticks, wagons/stroller-wagons, hard-sided coolers**, and certain folding chairs into Disneyland. All bags are subject to security screening. Glass containers (except small baby food jars) are also prohibited. The most common item denied is oversized strollers or wagons that exceed the 31-inch width and 52-inch length restriction, so check those dimensions before arriving at the Anaheim resort.

When you stay at the Disneyland Hotel, you receive several key benefits, most notably **Early Entry** access, allowing you into the parks 30 minutes before the general public. You also get unmatched **proximity** to the theme park entrances and Downtown Disney, premium hotel amenities, and the convenience of charging privileges and package delivery. These exclusive perks are the main advantages that justify the higher nightly rate at this official Anaheim resort property.

The main benefits of renting a stroller at a theme park like Disneyland include convenience and eliminating travel hassle. Renting means you do not have to transport your own bulky stroller on planes, in taxis, or on shuttles. However, be aware that park-rented strollers are typically hard plastic, basic models that do not recline and cannot leave the perimeter. Renting from a third-party vendor (outside the park) provides better quality and allows use outside the park, offering a balance of quality and convenience.

You should generally **choose the Disneyland Hotel** over the Pixar Place Hotel (formerly Paradise Pier) if proximity is your priority. The Disneyland Hotel offers a slightly shorter walk to the theme parks and access to the iconic monorail slide pool area. However, the **Pixar Place Hotel** offers highly themed rooms and generally has a lower nightly rate. Both are official resort hotels, granting the crucial Early Entry access to the parks.

It is generally better to bring your own stroller or rent from an outside vendor than to rent directly from Disneyland. Park-rented strollers are hard plastic models, available on a first-come, first-served basis, and cannot be taken outside the park perimeter. However, park rentals are convenient if you travel light and want to minimize hassle. Renting from a third-party vendor offers better quality, often with comfort features, and allows use both inside and outside the Anaheim park.
