How do you get from LAX to Hollywood?

Yes, Uber is allowed to pick up at LAX, but curbside pickup at the terminals is prohibited. All ride-share pickups are consolidated at the centralized pick-up area known as the LAX-it lot. Passengers must take a free shuttle bus (available outside the arrivals level) or walk from nearby terminals to the lot to meet their pre-booked Uber. This procedure adds time to the pickup process. Uber drop-offs at the airport, however, are allowed directly at the departures curbside.

The availability of a free shuttle depends on the specific Hilton location. Hilton hotels near major travel hubs, particularly those around LAX (Hilton LAX) or Universal City (Hilton Universal City), typically provide complimentary shuttles for guests to the airport or the nearby theme park entrance. For other Hilton locations in the Los Angeles area, the service is less common. Always confirm the shuttle’s schedule and availability directly with your specific hotel location before your arrival.

Yes, most Hilton hotels in the immediate vicinity of LAX provide a free, dedicated shuttle service for registered guests to and from the airport terminals. You can catch the shuttle upon arrival at the designated Hotel & Private Parking Shuttle stops located on the arrivals level (lower level). For Hilton Universal City, the shuttle runs from the hotel to the theme park, but not directly from LAX; you must arrange separate LAX airport transfers for that 25-mile trip.

Yes, the Hilton LAX shuttle is complimentary (free) for all registered hotel guests and typically runs 24 hours a day. This shuttle provides dedicated transport between the hotel and the LAX airport terminals. To catch the shuttle upon arrival, wait at the designated Hotel & Private Parking Shuttle stops located on the arrivals level (lower level) outside of your terminal. This service is a convenient, budget-friendly option for travelers needing transfer directly to the hotel.

Yes, the core LAX shuttles are completely free for passengers. This includes the Terminal Connector shuttle (Bus A, for moving between terminals), the LAX-it shuttle (for ride-share/taxi pick-ups), and the LAX economy parking shuttles. The FlyAway bus service, which provides transport to distant locations like Union Station, requires a paid fare. All these shuttles are provided by the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) authority for passenger convenience.

Yes, QuickPark is a service used for LAX parking (now defunct, replaced by the economy lot), and airport-affiliated parking services are generally considered safe due to their high visibility and shuttle access. They employ security measures such as fencing, lighting, and regular patrols to protect parked vehicles. For maximum security, travelers should always park in well-lit areas and avoid leaving valuables in the car. For passenger safety, the shuttle ride to and from the terminals is mandatory.
